This is actually a French sound detector, Sautter Harlé Mle 34.

Fantastic. I actually found the good wheel system a bit strange for Italian army but then remembered a modern system like the 90/53 director had also a good trailer and dismissed the question as :this is a modern system.

Here is another photo of it folded and without wheels.

Hi Emmanuel and Dili

Do either of you know (or anyone else) if these Sautter Harle Mle 34 were purcahsed by the Italians or are they captured equipment from the campaign of 1940? Or another thought were they sold/given to Italy by the Germans from captured stocks?
