Re: M 170 and M 270
Hello all. Took some time to read all the messages.for boulogne is creche 1x m270. And mt de couppe 3x m270. Built late in the war 1944 and planned as m170 for mt de couppe. From each is a englisch doc. With drawings. Visited 1 or 2 of mt. Couppe gunbunkers some years ago and where of m270 . Will check if i got pictures.
About the baufortpl . Great info but field research is needed. Like 105 's planned on herquelinque but 630's build. Mont lambert 630b = 630 en not the b type etc. Waterbunkers with strange nummers etc.
And yes keep the peace on the forum.
Gr. Ben

Re: M 170 and M 270
this is wonderful stuf
we measured a lot of niches in thes regelbau and the niches in the cellars seems to correspond with the ventilationdrawings our friend natter have found
nice to see the fieldwork and the archivework seems to connect
and M 170 1942 .... also nice
Thanks again Natter

Hello All
The M 170 in B. Socoa-West ( Ba 59 ) has also a 622 build beside the M 170 , does anyone know if
there was also a inside connection from the 622 to the M 170 just like Kernwerk Hoek van Holland ?? ( BAMA )
Regards Jos

Hello everyone,
In northern France, it has always been told that at Batterie du Mont de Couppe (Le Portel, Stp 232 Seerose), M 270 were built, even if (see above), a german map mentioned M 170 instead. But when I visited one of these, I saw that the openings for ammunition are straight, so these actually are M 170 ? By the way, the 1st one was built or in building in November 1943. Thank you
