The location is the town of Bondy in the northeast of Paris according to Sueddeutsche Zeitung here:

However, the date is not August 1944 but June 14, 1940 according to the 2 sources below!
Here is a view from behind of the gun position. I wonder if the town written on the traffic sign on the left is "ROSNY SOUS BOIS" which lays just south of Bondy. On the picture posted by Kurt, there is a traffic sign as well on the left. I think I can read "sous BOIS" which could mean "AULNAY sous BOIS" just north of Bondy. The gun would then be facing Paris and would be located at the crossroad between the National Road N 3 and what is today the N 186.

And another view from the front in this picture from an expired ebay.de auction. Note the same standing soldier with the black uniform as on the Getty picture. It has to be from the same series of pictures.
Here is the crossroad today between N 3 and N 186. Paris is straight ahead.

I confirm that the sign reads ROSNY SOUS BOIS when looking at the large picture on line.

Nice thanks for the confirmation.
Re: AT obstacles
Hi,
I believe the concrete obstacles (previous photo) are Czech, they were also used in the Atlantikwall.
