Hello All

This type of M.G. post is been written in the Bildheft Stellungbau , but in this post
you can see a wooden plank for the heavy M.G. 34 with lafette , does somebody
knows if this is a standard version with "Geratenummer" ??

Photo's = A.C. and Ebay

The top photo is from the Dieppe sector, part of the German propaganda photos taken after the raid (BA image number 101I-291-1213-34). I have no idea exactly where it's from, though.

On Alderney we have seen MG positions that looked alike.
That position is at Braye beach, it is a little off a bunker for a 4.7cm Festungspak.
I the Feste of Ober Gentringen (and other festes?) you can find positions for MG in the concrete trenches and they also have a wid firingrange.

Hello Jos,

It could be a version of the Laffetenbrett 34.

Hi,
In Research Group Grove we have recently been forced to take a deep interest in field fortifications, since we over the last year have found more than 300 taken straight out of HDv 57. The smg emplacement depicted is described in that.
