4,5 cm Granatwerfer 176 (i)

Hello

The original name of this mortar was Mortaio da 45/5 Modello 35 and was a complex weapon, not loaded
as a "normal" mortar from the top but from the side of the barrel ( please note the second picture ?? )
and fired with cartridges . The nickname of this mortar was Brixia .
