Flugmeldemess Stellungen in France, .kmz file

Post by SES » 26 Jan 2014 20:23

Hi,
I have spent a few hours extracting the locations of the subject from this tremendous site:
http://www.atlantikwall.mynetcologne.de ... index.html
this resulted in a compiled .kmz file with all the radarsites I could find. If I missed some please advise.
The file can be found here:
http://www.gyges.dk/luftwaffe_radar_sta ... France.htm
red link.

Bonjour

Afflicted, I went there only once (however with less than 20 minutes of at home  ) without really thinking of finding something thus not equipped and not obvious of access

The right WR:

The left (you understand why not easy to see...)
b 007_1.jpg
There is (was) also some concrete remainder under brambles.

Hello SES,

I see that you placed "Bock" on a place i had saved as "Dorsch"... is Dorsch incorrect then? (near Douai).
Also, i don't see "Drache" on the kmz? this is where we found that strange (old Freya?) radarbaracke on top of the Maginotfortress Chesnois.

Hi Tom,
No we are both right. Dorsch changed it's name to Bock sometimes in 1944.

Ha, cool, didn't know that!

Where stands the "B" from "Bock" for then? the "D" from "Dorsch" stands for "Douai" i guess...

Tom
