SES,

I see something else, about "Wels", i thought the KH Wels in Boulogne belongede to "Bulldogge"?
here my version for Wells. feel free to use my kmz into yours
10. Flugmelde-Leit-Kompanie Wels (Wissant).kmz
the 622 and munitionstorages in youre kmz under "Wels I" dont belong to Wels, its an hq together with reserve munitions for MKB Todt.

Hi Tom,
My problem is that I cannot not find documentation for the affiliation of the KH at the monument. It is not even marked on any of the German maps I have.

Hi Tom,
Thanks a lot.
And if you can find documentation of which Stellung the KH belonged to I would be happy.

OK! found the exact spot SES!

On the aerial of 1947 its barely visible, on the aerial of 1962 its under the ground allready. Still fits with the round posion of the road, but the bunker lies horizontal instead of vertical on my prev. post.

The bunker must be still there, burried before 1962, guess this beauty is still filled with nice radar-related technologies 8-)

Another thing i see on the aerials of this position, an aerial of 1945 with above the so-called "WaKo-fest 8.8cm" flak batterie...

And something else i've notice on this aerial of 1945...

What is this? foundations for an antenna?
Also "near" (some 100m) the L480

Hello,
we already chat about it here:

The picture in the middle with the white golf car is mine. (not my best atlantikwall picture I've ever made... ).

SES,

I think it belong to Buldogge, because of the "B" in the nickname which also fits with "Boulogne"... (same for Wels with Warincthun).

I've noticed this goes not with all stellungen... and some stellungen are devide into several locations (like Buldogge is divided also into a part that stands near St Cecile plage).

is it correct to handle a FuMG nickname's first letter with an location nearby?

Yes, but it need not be a village or town, it could also be say a river or lake, and it was always something prominent you could find on a map of 1:300.000
