So do I......
I first saw it 60 years ago......
And at that time, no trees to hide it from the road.....

I remember the paintings on the theater walls....... Most of them were bavarian landscapes..... But I hadn't any camera ! And I had to go back to the beach.... Guard's dog was coming ! I was maybe 14 years old.... (1963)

something starnge
In the original plan of the S 497 we see in the rechenraum left and right two rooms each
In the drawing of the S 497 in Ile de Ré we see three rooms ...
original drawing

here the same part at our drawing
00 636.jpg
It becoming more interesting if we see the Fl 250 and the Fl 250a
a Fl 250 has two rooms
an FL 250a has three rooms
00 HS Fl 250a b.jpg
could it be possible we have a S 497 and also a S 497a ?

super nice info's about the a-version of the FL 250!

In Den Helder (NL) it is an FL 250a, see shadowlines on my picture of the place where three rooms where.

Notice also the cable entrances below!

And by the hand of the airvents above, one can recognize also the three (dissapeared) rooms

Tom

Indeed, the bunker is re-used by the dutch army, but the shadowlines of the innerwalls on the floor + ventilation pipings are german leftovers
