Hello

Dirk, Thanks for sharing.

I was there in 2012 but were not allowed to go into the quarry

But we saw the observationpost at the church and some other bunkers near the church Down the road with the villas after the carpark.

Kurt

Hello

They were about here (see attached map).

There were a couple of bunkers Down the road, but they were on private property.

another problem here
I ll think we have an old Leitstand here , It is an underground quarter with a special Tobruk
I ll think even this Tobruk is a prefab Tobruk
on the aerial picture we see it is connected with a relative big shelter (with a sort of emergency exit (or "Lichtschacht an the entrence is way of the Tobruk
Here i explain on aerial picture

a picture of this Tobruk

I have found this drawing of the Leitstand of batt Hessen in the book of Yannick Rose "1940/1944 L'Artillerie Côtière de L'Est Cotentin HKAR1261" on page 124.
This leitstand was belonging in 1942 to the S.B. (k) 317.

You can see that In comparison with the drawing i think of Dirk Peeters of the Leitstand of batt St Adress that both leitstands as you mentioned are the same model.

Grtz.

Dear Dirk T.

I'm agree ta share information but anyway, I like to decide by myselft what I want to share in forums! It is the only existing measurement of the Fort de Ste Adresse Leitstand made before it was covered with earth

Thanks to Dirk Peeters for having underline that I'm the maker of this drawing.

Sébastien Haule

According to a drawing from R. Desquenes in "Normandie 44 -Le mur de l'atlantique - batteries d'artillerie côtière" the entrance of La Pernelle Lt. is with stairs contrary to the plan of Y. Rose.

Rewrite your sentence in good english Arthur You said La pernelle is with stairs .... Etienne says it s impossible ... like you can see for yourself
2014-02-10_143146.jpg
we all understand what you write .....
The plan of Y Rose is very good also the plan of Sebatien Haule wich circulated the internet i understand ....
Happens frequently the last period .... I see also many items from our archive popping up here and there without knowing how....

You are joking, aren't you ? Only blind guys can switch a part of the sentence and make such misinterpretation.

About your last sentences if you have something to tell me you can go straight to the point, it will save time.

here" is the plan of R Desquesnes
Yes he has in his drawning stairs .... but it s a small error why do you (Arthur) give this detail from a very old book that is very good
the books of Desquensnes are very good and for the period of this book these plans are very good
