As many folks already knows we have a splendid museum in on of the two SK 1 in Antwerp
There is something new about the SK 1
I ll begin wirh a plan from Patrick Fleuridas
001.jpg
On the german plan we see it is is designed on the 09 Marz 1943
SK 1 am plan 03.jpg
plan archive KLM Brussel
on a document from Nara of a SK 1 plan we see this
SK 1 am plan 01.jpg
SK 1 am plan 02.jpg
Look at the date at the left bottom of the american plan
001 a.jpg
5 months before D DAy they had the plan of the SK1 and 11 months after the germans drew this plan the americans had this in their progression
American effiency ? Or has the "Deutsche Grundlichkeit" not worked here

That plan is the same way drawn as the ABL-post war plans of other bunkers in Antwerp?! perhaps the ABL re-used those Allied plans?

Since bunkerfreaks is not welcome anymore there, i've created my own version of the SK1

The reason why i don't publish this sketchup file, is because of most materials inside i've re-used of existing .skp models from the sketchup warehouse. This is just a project for my own archive 8-) (only those 3-sneakpeak views for you lads)

It could be better Dirk, this is in fact my first sketchup drawning which i created (2 years ago i think). The last one i've created was much more difficult (a long gone HWB leitstand in Belgium according to Service Marc plans...) But i don't have the intention yet to publish them as i personaly still not happy with the quality of my work. i still need some practice ;-)

But how does the allies have such detailled plan of an HQ in January 1944?!

I thought even the trams on the tramway that passed the bunker where blinded so the civilians could not see anything of the bunker?!

there are around 100 german structures left in and arround Antwerp, the only problem is that many of them lies on private properties.

So there is a lot to see
And antwerp is good to combine with youre lady, when you are visiting bunkers, she can explore our beautifull antwerp with youre creditcard haha

Looks great Tom, but you still can credit the guys who made all the parts.

Question: I see a central heating radiator in obe of the rooms but no boiler/heater room ?
Thanks,

Wim

Wim,

I've "credited" underneath the pic by adding something like "The reason why i don't publish this sketchup file, is because of most materials inside i've re-used of existing .skp models from the sketchup warehouse." because i re-use everything possible what was there some years ago, i don't remember the nicknames from the uploaders, lots of harpoon and scolty i'm sure.
