L 487 Bertha

#1

Post by dirk Peeters » 22 Mar 2014, 11:19

During my trip this week i completely measured the one at Blavandshuk and the one at the Kryle StP
they are not alike , a lot different
can anyone shed some light ? which use was for them ? the two sites have the same function ?
gonna see what the one at Thyboron gives , and the one at Christenminde ....
when the plans are drawn i ll place them here of course

Thyboron l 487 looks the same as the Kryle L 487
The Hjardemaal Christenminde L 487 looks more the Type of Blavandshuk L 487
I ll start the drawnings soon

Here the first drawning (Kryle Ringelnatter)
it s different of the german plan
an extra door of 150 cm is added between the two great rooms , some brickwalls are altered , only one seeburgtable is build
L 487 21 plan122.jpg
this changes of course also the cellar

Hi Dirk,
Thank you for the drawing, we are looking forward to the additional ones.
Two nightfighters could be controlled from these bunkers and this could be done from one Seeburg Tisch, if it had four turntables. Please see:
http://www.gyges.dk/Himmelbett.htm
bottom the page.
The original intent seems to have been to have one Seeburg Tisch for each fighter, but that would have required one additional JLo (fighter controller) so due to manpower restrictions, this plan was probably abandoned.

Hi Dirk,
I just checked the manning. Each Stellung in Denmark had 2 JLos. One for the day shift and one for the night.
And it was originally intended to have two Seeburg Tische in the L 487, but this plan was abandoned for the reasons I stated.
