NO it is not a V165.
The WIM building is 6,60 x 4,20 cm in ground plane, the V165 is 7,70 x 5,20.
But I have seen the WIM building wrongly identified a couple of times as a V165.

Well SES,
Do you have a list of places where the WindMessGerät was used?
I only knew Westkapelle, and at this place the V165 look alikes are not built.
The places i have seen the V165 or the look alikes are Fecamp and Mt Etolan.

Sorry no but often the WIM was just mounted on a small steel cabin.

Hi,
When I saw the header on the map "Ln-Gerätestellungen" I thought in Luftwaffe terms only. But try to take a look at the list below of Kriegsmarine sites.
MPNS Dieppe = GRÛNSPECHT ?
MPNS Fecamp = PELIKAN ?
MPNS Etretat
MPNS Sovlac cannot find it on a map.
MPNS Erquy
MPNS Bayeux

Hi,
I doubt it. It was subordinate to MPHS Brest.

Just for the record

The M.P.N.S. Erquy and Bayeux were also subordinate under M.P.H.S. Brest .

Sometimes you guys goes in circles, trying to cover too much ground..(info)
This might help ?
I think I have found M.P.N.S. Sovlac it must be Soulac ( Stril is right ) looking at the some
maps and information it must be at Wn.321 ( Sorau ) there was a Marine Peilstelle .
