Hello,

It is no photos but a small work I made few years ago according to german documents and pictures. It's the theory, as always in practice many "infrigment" must have occured !

Previously : the Wehrmacht (division and Festung Pinnier) have decided :
1 : the priority and density of fortification for each areas of the AW
2 : Area by area, where will the strongpoints be built
3 : Strongpoint by strongpoint, what bunker and where.

The, the O.T. takes the builing over.

Step 1 : Digging and making a "carpet" with pebbles
fouille.png
Step 2 : building the radiate with emerging irons at the base of the future walls. Phone wire must not be forgotten !
02 radier.png
Step 3 : Doing the iron framework incuding the pipes, and putting the wood coffering up, the inner walls first....

...the the outer.
04 coffrage externe.png
Step 4 : Filling the coffering with concrete

To be continued (due to attachement restriction)

Step 5 : Wooden coffering parts are properly unsettled to be reused elsewhere.

Step 6 : The backfill is parly put against the walls and parly scattered.

Then, the Fest. Pi. takes the hand back to instal int inner equipement and the fortress weapons.

Barbed wire and camouflage work can be made with the help of the RAD.

Hello,

Not german (Cz) but it remains a rare and interresting picture. The wood thickness is clearly visible.

I agree very nice, but there is one important step missing: The mounting of the I-beams to support the roof.
