Turret 441p01

Post by Hubertus1656 » 18 Jan 2016 22:43

Hello. Looking photograph pit type domes armored 441p01 with details.

We try to recreate the commutator and mechanisms under the platform.
When cleaning the dome shaft blasted 441p01 in Regelbau 120a bridgehead Warsaw found some pieces of equipment pit.

Unfortunately, apart from photos from Denmark we do not have other photographs and close-ups of details:

As an aside, this device is known in the American Military as a"Slipring" and is still used for the same purpose in tank and other turrets. I am surprised that they are still present as currently they are made of copper. What are yours made of.

And that's the current exploration provisionally pieced together the puzzle:

Correct me if I'm wrong
1) For the tube projecting from the floor are fastened on a circle two slots
2) The core of the commutator in which the pipe runs from the air is motionless
3) Aluminum housing with brush rotates together with the platform and on it are sockets for connecting the cable from the platform.

I'm curious how the pipe was sealed by supplying air above the platform? Where he was and how the air supply pipe outlet? Does anyone can picture the electric motor to trading platform? How did the output cables connecting the object with the column dome and completed plugs?
