Hello everyone,

I have found a luftwafe bunker at Marseille MAR117 (Flak 3x 2cm).

I think it is a L413A but there is no tobrouk on the side. It is now embedded in a building, but it was square shaped on the old pictures. I don't know very well the luftwaffe regelbau. Is thereany other code for a L413A like design without tobrouk ?

there is also a hole to the roof with the system to open the cap. Was it for a periscope or for a radio antenna ?

and last question do you know this marking ?

many thanks for you help

Correct,
2.4 HES.
VW stands for viskin watten filter, a pre filter for the carbon filter.
Very Nice find, keep the door wel locked!

hello,

the HES is 2.4 Mc build Anton Peiler, but the prefilter is brand diffèrent. it is cast iron with the cover screw, I think is brand Auer, and the passage in the roof for the periscope. the L413a is bunker for munition.we have two in our STP with tobruk.
thank for the pictures !!
