And now to break the myth read on a lot of sites , about spread of 10,5cm Flak L / 45 on Flak-Kreuzers.
Let's admire few images about 10,5cm SKC32nL in 8,8cm MPLC/30 that have reinforced these vessels, replacing 10,5cm UTOF C / 16,

Dear Vladalex,
Many thanks for those pictures (and your work on IDing these completed series of weapons). Brilliant pics of the Niobe (negotiating the Koninginnebrug in Rotterdam) and the Ariadne.

Hello,

I am honored by your appreciations.
My effort was just to highlight a historical fact: if we had a great winning of the 2nd world war from the east, that means that it has a lot of data about the enemy, and we may find this special data , only from them, if we want to accept it in our mind, otherwise everything is OK.
Therefore, I posted several times the addresses of this forums, to say unusual for us who are from West side of the map.
And now a last series of Flak-Kreuzers pictures from the same address.
Enjoy the pictures!

Best wishes and a nice weekend,
Vladalex

thanks, from a distance these 10,5 cm guns remind of the Vickers 94mm...
Anyway, how many of the 10,5cm L45 were operational in WW2 in all of these ships combined plus shore batteries?

Hello,

A short inventory of 10,5cm guns from Kriegsmarine at the end of 1940 is 531 pieces.
A short inventory of Flak Batteries (8,8cm ; 10,5cm ;12,8cm) in 1944 is 2655 (with 25% greater than in 1943)
A short inventory of 10,5cm L/45 guns produced in year 1944 in Germany is 1332 pieces (without Kriegsmarine counts).

Source for Kriegsmarine data ---> Navypedia Germany 1940 Ballance.
Source for Flak data ---> Edward B. Westermann, Flak German Anti-aircraft Defenses 1914-1945, 311 pages, University Press of Kansas, 2001.

For the many, many guns mounted in bunkers, over all Europe coast, or other locations, that I not mentioned because lack of data, please
ask the specialists of this Forum ( and other, of course ).
Best Regards,
Vladalex.
