Re: Photo's to ID (Belgium / northern France)
It's a part the jamming station of the Luftwaffe in Oostduinkerke, Stp Marseille. Visible till 2005, now covered.

could you pinpoint it's location on a map? I didn't know any traces remained (although covered up)

Hello Jean,
The Barrack was huge en had a L form : 55.4m long (long part of the L), 34.6mlong (short part of the L), 10m wide and 4m high. There was a concrete splittermauer all around.
Correction: covered around 2000, not 2005.
There are a few pictures of some other constructions and antennas from this Stp in the book about the Radars (Vol 2).

Re: Photo's to ID (Belgium / northern France)
I ve found it thanks to Pierrot
i investigate it with Alain Van Geeteruyen
and we (at that time) believed it was WN Kinderheim (found on StP carte 03 11 1943) with "stoorzender Breslau"
(gonna search where that came from because Marseille is also indicated)
I believe Pierre much more than my archive when he said Marseille
here the plan

It looked like quite a large Stützpunkt... I'll have to ring some doors in the neighborhood in search for small remains...

i believe a few antenna sockels still exist ....
Re: Photo's to ID (Belgium / northern France)
I can't really see on the map by Dirk... but were there any ringstande at Stp Marseille??
This photo from the same collection shows a ringstand with surroundings very much alike the Stp. Marseille photo's.
(a single standing ringstand with no other references won't be easy to recognize I think...)

As changes are small the above ringstand can be pinpointed to a location, here's the next one
(at first sight i thought it was the 611 with ringstand of the Stp Bochum (Cabour, Adinkerke), at time when the trees were still all around the bunker... but it isn't the that one when looking closer)

Re: Photo's to ID (Belgium / northern France)
it looks a 611 for sure , there are not that many in Belgium
Re: Photo's to ID (Belgium / northern France)
But let's not get stuck on this single bunkertype, it could still be another bunkertype... but which one and where
Re: Photo's to ID (Belgium / northern France)
the wall where the ringstand is built into is quite long (much longer then on the 611 at cabour)
which bunkertypes could have such a long wall?

Hey Jean,
I am pretty sure your bunker is the 608 of WN Marder in Oostduinkerke. Demolished in 2006 I think.
