Hello,

The wall Todt in France in Brignoles :

The municipal stadium had been transformed into a barracks where the Todt's services were housed in barracks in planks, Italian prisoners and hundreds of workers of the S.T.O. (Obligatory Labor Service) for the mines of Bauxite.
The German engineers had built an aerial dock (Todt wall) on which a small train brought back the minerals of the villages of Vins, Cabasse or Le Thoronet.
These small locomotives with their tippers were arriving on this wall and directly bauxite in the wagons of the main line located below, leaving for Germany.
Out of five thousand tons of the Var, three thousand tons left for Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

Hello,
The municipal stadium had been transformed into barracks where the Todt services were housed in barracks in planks, Italian prisoners and hundreds of S.T.O. (Compulsory Work Service) for the mines.
The German engineers had built an aerial quay (wall of the Todt) on which a small train brought back ore from the villages of Vins, Cabasse or Le Thoronet.
These little locomotives with their tipping box wagons arrived on this wall and dumped the bauxite directly in the wagons of the main line located below, leaving for Germany.
Out of five thousand tonnes left from the Var, three thousand tonnes left for Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

This wall, part of which still exists (see photo), is named by the Brignolais "la taude" by “Provençal language extension”.
