Ok, I posted this, viewtopic.php?f=70&t=227272, yesterday.
But perhaps it is better to start a new topic. I would like to post a photo possibly relevant to this subject,
searched the FAQ, not really clear at the moment how to, but perhaps someone could explain how to upload a photo?

Edit to at the text of the post mentioned above.
OK, instead of opening a new topic, I would like to add another question.
Just recently I received this book, "Radar in Nederland 1940-1945" written by JR Verbeek and CNJ Neisingh.
In this book there is a mention on page 177, Seetakt locations unknown, for Texel, de Cocksdorp, Petten-Groet, Bergen aan Zee.
Is it possible that there was a Seetakt at Petten near the HKB?

Best regards,
Burts.

Please take a look at this photo from 1950. The HKB is on the left.

Best regards,
Burts.

Jos, thank you for your reply.
In the book mentioned above there is no further mentioning of placed or planned regarding to Petten.
If you want I can scan these pages and send those to you by email. (Please do).
The photo shown above is a screenshot of a much larger photo, ca. 7000X5000, please look at the building in the black outlining shown above.
What could be the functioning of that building? On aerial photo's from before the war there was no such building.
Compare the height of the building relevant to others on the photo, see the HKB at the left. ( can send you the photo in large format).
Any else want to bring light to this subject, please go on! I know the aera very well for more than 50 years, but this one is a mistery for me
for me.
Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Burts.

Hello,

The dutch "Rijkswaterstaat" has a huge digital picture archive with coastal pictures from 1900 to yesterday.
Here is a link to petten of 1954.
You can download a high resolution copy of the picture.

Thanks,

Hello Wim, thank you for your reply. Yes I am aware of those coastal photo's from the RWS Beeldbank.
I have looked in my files again and have come to the conclusion that the building as mentioned in my post above must be, according to the drawings of the BRV from 1949, one of the three 612's, one of these still remaining today.
Please see the drawings below. So, I overlooked the drawings in my files and made a mistake.

Best regards,
Burts.
