Hello Kurt

Looks to me Fort Schaar ( Wilhelmhaven ) on 11-03-1940 during a visit of Admiral Raeder .

Hi Kurt

I have it from the book "Die Luftverteidigungs im Abschnitt Wilhelmhaven 1939-1945" from Greve,
the fort was at that time the commandpost from the 2. Marineflakbrigade . But it could be Cuxhafen .

Regards Jos

I can't believe I never before ventured to this subforum in search of Kriegsmarine Admirals photos. Now I'm glad I stumbled upon it.

The Konteradmiral next to Raeder is Friedrich-Wilhelm Fleischer.
There is another admiral in the background, behind Fleischer. It's Kurt Fricke.

jopaerya, you mentioned you "have it from the book "Die Luftverteidigungs im Abschnitt Wilhelmhaven 1939-1945". Do you mean you have the photo from above in that book (without the watermark?)? Could you please post it.

Thanks
Kriegsmarine Großadmiral
