Angers Rue Louis Gain
Angers Rue Louis Gain
Hello
I know the bunkers at Pignerolle , but this bunker looks to be downtown. Who knows this bunker and her lay-out ?

This bunker is in the "parc Bellefontaine" (Angers). It was a "LS"...
Before it was just by a castle which belonged to Julien Bessonneau owner of a big factory (almost 10 000 workers) "la société Bessonneau" (tex canvas and ropes)... This plant had its own railway station, hospital, summer camp, etc. and was working for the german army...The buildings were bombed and destroyed.... Now, all the remnants are gone and it's a wonderful park...

Looks to be a 608 with 1,2 lüfter instead of 2,4 and a notausgang.

Looks the the Militärverwaltungs bezirk B was renamed later in Militärverwaltungs bezirk Südwest-Frankreich ??
what fits with this document . Could be that this command was located at the university at Angers . ( NARA )

Spending some time in Angers, I could not resist and had to find the LS Bunker on Rue Louis Gain . It's big ! The two entrances are sealed. Here are my pictures:
