Lo 335, casemate type ?

#1

Post by patrick fleuridas » 17 Aug 2017, 16:57

Hi,

I research the exact regelbau for the four schartenstand at Lo 335, from 3./MAA 264. For Alain Chazette it's 4X M 270 . But for Dirk Peeters, 4 X M176.
Where is the truth ?

According to the O.B.L. Mitte it's a M 170 , post from Arthur/Eax-E

Here is a recollection of 100% german based information and sourced.

MKB Gâvres = M170 (OBL Mitte's bauprogram)
MKB Larmor= M170 (OBL Mitte's bauprogram)
MKB Talud = M170 (OBL Mitte's bauprogram)
MKB Espanet = M270 (Lageplan)
MKB Mont de Couppe = M170 (Lageplan)
Speerbatterie Frederikshavn = M270 (F.Pi.'s Bauprogram)
Speerbatterie Süd Lökken = M270 (F.Pi.'s Bauprogram) ! One of the M270 must be modified !
MKB Reichenberg Les Arros = M170 (RH32)
MKB Kernwerk Hoek Van Holland = M176 in "A" x 4 and M170 x 3 (F.Pi.'s Bauprogram)
MKB Bastion II Cherbourg = M170 (F.Pi.'s Bauprogram) (strongly modified)
MKB 1./M.A.A. 118 Hansted = M270 (Baufortschrittsplan)

The B.Gavres at Lo 335 is very typical, some M 170 have vertical ammo passages ( "normal" way ) but also horizontal ammo passages ??
