Hello Kurt,
the Jules Ferry camp is going to be destroyed and the whole area will be turned again for a nature aera.
A panorama view will be built on the top of one of the Türmen (to watch birds, the sea...).
The bunkers will probalby be bricked up to prevent to go inside, but this is not clear for the moment.

I suppose yes. Nothing from the OT camp/Jules Ferry camp should left.

At least they don't demolish the bunkers.
So after a few years you can dug them up and make a tourist trap out of it.

This is what I read about it:
At the back of the battery was the Jules Ferry Leisure Center. After the dislocation of migrants, the center has just been destroyed. The site becomes a natural park of the littoral. The small casemates M and points of support, are buried, some partially destroyed. For the SK casemates, they will be closed, and their roof will be used to host an observation platform.
No information about the hospital bunker. Most likely it is clogged, and the fresco (what is left) in oblivion.

Well as long as you don't have a group of people who are enthusiastic and can work there and convince the owner that they can manage the area, nothing will happen.
We like concrete, but be honest who want to spend, all his/hers, free time there ?
Work for free, work again for free, getting frustrated with others freelancers.
Because that is what happens.

You need a lot of money, a good plan and the blessing of the locals not the least from the authorities.
Before they take control like now.
Thanks,

Wim
