Hello,
the last picture comes from the tankarchives blog, it was labeled as early models having longer barrels. I think the tail is also shorter than later versions.
I think I figured out what happened at Kalamegdan.
The information plates for the 40 mm 40M and the other gun were swapped for some reason. The 40M is called Pak 36, while the 37 mm is called a 40 mm 40M.
And the 37 mm gun had some bogus wooden wheels (the axles look to be thin compared to the wheels' holes). My guess it was a regular Pak 36, the whole suspension got lost and the museum replaced them with something that was at hand. Later the replacement wheels were also lost.
Here is a nice collection of the various guns from Kalamegdan:

Yes, it looks very much as such.nuyt wrote:last one could be the Turkish model?
Sweden bought a batch of those guns during the war and barrel length was L50.

I have always wondered who first started calling it the Pak 36 since the Germans never did.

There was a Fallschirmjäger variant with a lighter carriage (leichte Feldlafette) which could be carried underneath a Ju 52 and dropped with five parachutes.
Does anybody have any data on that model? Weight, number produced?
