Re: Dieppe
Maybe I am wrong but the gun inside the bunker looks to me a 7.5 cm F.K. 231 (f) see the two things on the tipp of the barrel.

Could the topphoto from Alain book be the same photo-shoot as this photo ??

Re: Dieppe
I don't know about the photo shoot but the gun looks externally like a 7.7 cm FK 16 (or a 7.5 cm FK16 nA) and therefore, would match one of 7.5 cm FK234(b) on Jos' German map of 1.1.44.
Here is another picture of a 7.5 cm FK234(b) (expired ebay auction). The location looks very similar to Alain's picture except with the camouflaged net rolled up.

Re: Dieppe
Hello,
from me 3 pictures as a supplement.
In the castle was the leadership of II./HKAR 1252.
The rectangular mark shows the position of the cannon (Fig. 1).
Figure 2 is an aerial photograph from 1947.
Figure 3 also shows bunkers for the fire control of the II./HKAR 1252 batteries.
Greetings from Klaus-Dieter
