@ Klaus-Dieter , I think it's the opening on the right side of the gun-bunker on the photo's of Alain and not the gun bunker ??

@ The 7.5 cm F.K. 231 (f) could fit inside the gunbunker in the rock but I not so sure if the 7.5 cm 16 (n.A.) would fit with the gunshield.

@ On the IGN photo of the bunker on top of the hill beside the bunker with the "Kleinstklocke"

Hello,

nice photos of Tom!

From the German letter of Jos, I made a schematic representation of the conditions of "Die 06", I have adopted the names from the letter.

I find the "Geschütz-Kasematte 3" particularly interesting.

To the Pak I found 3 interesting links:

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Cate ... Model_1936

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Cate ... Model_1938

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Cate ... B3n_vz._36

The used Skoda-Pak ("Beutewaffe") has got the German name "4,7 cm PaK 36 (t)" (t for Czech).

In addition a link:

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/47_mm_kanon_P.U.V.vz.36

The Pak was in a Regelbau bunker D 602:

Interesting is the access from below.

Many pictures can be found at Bunkerarcheodieppe.

Newspaper clipping:

"Pak/Festungskanone":

Hello Alex,

I have taken the terms from the German document:

Image

The description "Hohlgang" leads down to ... D 602" is clear.

From the photos it is clear to me that the casemate could be erected in open excavation.

At 1 "Regimentsgefechtsstand" ... I'm not sure. According to "Relikte Atlantikwall"

http://www.relikte.info

is a "Vf Beobachtung":

Image

The Reg.Gef.Std 608 you mentioned is, according to Alain Chazette's book
"Mythe ou réalité" der Gef.Std der II./Gren.Regt.935.

608 and "Vf Beobachtung" were both connected to a "Hohlgangsystem".

The following picture comes from book "Mythe ou réalité":

Image

It shows the Peilstand SK of the II./HKAR 1252 and the Leitstand 636 of the 4./HKAR 1252.

These bunkers are located about 350m west of the mentioned "Vf Beobachtung".

Maybe Alain can write something about that?

Regards
Klaus-Dieter

And the Rg.Gef.Stand mentioned in the german doc is for me the 608 who is connected with the HGS.

and can anybody confirm a 668?

Drawing is from Jacky Laurent :thumbsup: far as I can see no connection to the bunker on the cliff.

17 = bunker with the Kleinstglocke
18 = 7.5 cm Kasemat
25 = entrance
24 = 506 S.K.
the halfround dotted line is the opening you can see on the photo's of Alain

On 06-08-1943 there were 24 officers - 49 NCO - 199 soldiers in Die-06

3 x 7.5 cm
1 x 60 cm Scheinwerfer
1 x m. Pak
1 x l. Pak
5 x m. Granatwerfer
17 x M.G.

Hello,
Many thanks to Jos and JLM, the pdf by Jacky Laurent is great.
The two casemates are where I suspected them, the Vf observation has no connection to the tunnel system.
The classification of the PC H609 II./Gren.Regt.935 is registered.
This looks like my revised schema:
