Jos,

It looks like a listening device since the officer on the top picture has a sort of earphones on. There could be a small amplifier in the back with a power cord attached to it. Such a device could be useful for motion detection at night in front of a position. :idea: :idea: :idea:

A other strange thing , looks a sort of plow. The wheels looks from the French 15.5 cm K. 416(f) .

Also looks like the plow for sescrution of train tracks.
The hook is a-typical for a ground plow.

Evening all!
Jos, the plows in your picture are used for drainage, for example draining rainwater from a grass airstrip.
If you look carefully you see the draining tubes, on a roll, in the background.
The plow would cut a ditch and lay the draining tube at the required depth at same time, see also the guide just under the arc of the plow
for guiding the draining tube to the bottom of the ditch.
The same method, alltough more refined, is still used today.

The german term for this device is "Ziellinienprüfer". It is used to check barrelaignement of guns.
