Two Luftschutzbunkers at the Jobs/Parkhaven at Rotterdam, the first one is a 2 storey Luftschutz.
The second one is a one storey bunker, photo's are from ECPA Evry and drawings from BRV achive.

They look relatively complex for mere air-raid shelters, having many small rooms and entrance defences. The designs remind me of Flak command posts like the Fl 300a or Fl 331.

Hello Torsten

The function of the bunkers could be changed during the war, but never found any information on Flak commandpost.

Sure Jos, I'm not claiming that these were command posts, just noticing similar elements.

Hi,
I quite agree. The many small rooms does not indicate an air raid shelter, but a command post or a telephone exchange, please see

I had my doubts too but wanted evidence.
Looking at the pictures I noticed that I have seen the details somewhere else:

Diogenes has them way up to wall: antenna connectors:
Diogenes_2-web.jpg
Diogenes_2-web.jpg (66.36 KiB) Viewed 4352 times
Both buildings show them more then needed for an air raid shelter.
Thanks,

Wim
