Here a very blurry photo from the same place , the white house on the left with the pole .
On the first photo you can see the pole and the white house again. The location of the con-
crete fueltank is unique for Waalhaven, in IJmuiden there were build behind the bunker far
from houses .

Fascinating riddle it was. Funny thing is I visit some companies in the new development on the same location once in a while. Never thought about the past "bestemming" :)

Dear Jos and friends !

I apologize for my mistake ! I should have check deeply for the location. I confess to having doubts about Ijmuiden and I tried to find picture of the housed area in several Dutch online archives...Nobody's perfect ! Finally, the important thing is to have identified the right place thanks to Nuyt !

No apologize , you connected the two photo's with the houses only the location was wrong in Foedrowitz's book.
