Id of ammo container?

Hi,

Can anybody around here identify this ammo container?

It is 48 cm long, højt, exterior Ø 25 cm.
Interior depth beyound lid: 40 cm interior Ø 24,3 cm.

There are no stamps og writing visible.

The knob looks much like the one on Hüls.Kart. 15 cm Tbts K C/36

But that container measuress 95 x 19 cm.

This is definitely german navy.
Have a good look, normally the type is stamped into the metal around the outside rim.
If i'm not mistaken the LG60 flares were packed in round containers about this size.
