French coastal fort, June 1940

Post by udondave » 17 Nov 2018, 01:49

Hi everyone,

Looking for the location of this French coastal fort overrun by the 7th Panzer Division in June 1940. Hopefully the two square lighthouses will help the ID.

Many thanks,

Dave

I don't think these are lighthouses...

The guns are 240 mm TR Mle 1903 at the Cap de la Heve battery at Le Havre .

Hi everyone,

Another shot at Cap de la Heve, what gun is this?

The other two photos were taken around the same time in June 1940, any idea where?

Thanks in advance for the location and gun ID.

Cheers, Dave
