Flugwache Scheinwerfer

#1

Post by TiesG » 26 Jan 2019, 09:54

Hello,

Is there anything known about Scheinwerfers at Luftwaffe Fluwa's? I have two pictures, one from Warffum and one from Heveskes, both located in de the province Groningen (Holland) showing the same type of searchlight. Anyone knows the type and diameter? It looks like a 60cm? I can imagine more Fluwa's in the occupied countries where equipped with these type.

Thanks!

I have recently published my first book about the Flugwache in Warffum. By coincidence the former landowner found my book and he told me he still had de foundation from the Scheinwerfer at home. I now have it in my museum!! Lovely piece of history!

Perhaps the site fernmelder.de can be a place to start ? OB33, OB35, and OB43 is mentioned.
