Looking for info on the transportable coastal artillery gun "SKC/28M" mounted on "15 cm Mot. L.C/38"

would be interesting to know the accuracy of this gun, and how many were produced......

Mechanized Coastal Artillery

The 15cm Schiffskanone C/28 in Mörserlaffete was an urgent measure to provide heavy guns to the German Artillery, combining Navy 15 cm SK C/28 guns with the 21 cm Mörser 18 carriages, these carriages are built for the mentioned 21 cm Mörser and for the 17 cm Kanone 18, and they outpaced the production of the guns, so the 15 cm SK C/28 wwere used to replenish. Only 8 were produced, for the Army.

Calibre: 149,1 mm
Lenght of piece: 8.291 mm
Lenght of barrel: 7.815 mm
Weight in action: 16.870 Kg
Traverse on platform: 360 º, on carriage: 16º
Elevation: 0º to +50º
Shell Weight: 43 Kg
Maximum range: 23.700 m
Rate of fire: 2 rpm of separate-loading, cased charge

Used also as coastal gun as 15 cm Schiffskanone C/28 in Kusten Marine Pivot Lafette C/36

The data varied for this last as
Traverse: 360º on Pivot Lafette
Elevation -5º to + 35º
Shell Weight: 45.5 Kg
Maximum range: 23.500 m

As for all the German Navy guns very (if not Highly) accurate and with a very high range for a campaign or coastal gun

My best regards
