Hi guys,

I visited the site in oktober 2017 already, time flies!

At the time I knew it was a site with bunkers for transmitting or something like that. I organized this location as W.N. 153., after the green dot to be seen on the '44 map of Cherbourg. This map is in the back of Chazettes purple book. So I took a look when I finally reached this region of the Cotentin.

I visited 2 structures which were quite big, one under the trees along the road to the castle, the other one was in the field. Maybe there is more but Im not sure. No measurements taken as I assume Belfra did or will do.

Can anybody tell me if it is safe to archive this location as " W.N. 153 - Funkfeuer Station "Gross Willi" "?

Rgds,

Robin

A lot of concrete buildings ! Thank you for sharing, Robin.

According to a post-war inspection, there was around the castle:
- 2 ringstand for 5 cm KwK
- 2 small garages
- 2 large garages (with 1 meter thivck walls)
- 1 communication building
