Extra steel protection landbased gun turrets

I found on the site Germansdocsinrussia some information about the extra protection of the 21 cm and 28 cm gun turrets
used in the Atlantic Wall . Looks most of steel used for the extra protection on the turrets was for the projected Battleship H and J .
