I am currently reading "Armoured Warfare in the Battle for Budapest" by Szamveber. I came across a passage describing the various defensive belts of the "Attila Line" outside of Pest. It stated that " At Dunaharaszti, a high voltage wire obstacle consisting of a single strand of wire was established." I am very well read on the Eastern Front but I have never come across the mention of using electrified wire in defensive lines. Was this common in conjunction with defense of urban areas ? Anyone who can give me more details or information would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rich
