It seems that the official name for army Flak units included the word Artillerie. For example Heeres-Flak-Artillerie-Abteilung.
But what about Luftwaffe? It seems that the "Artillerie" part was missing from the official unit names and it was simply Flak-Abteilung (or Flak-Regiment, Flak-Division etc). Am I correct?
The same question about Marine Flak unit names: Artillerie included in the name or not?
Flak-Artillerie-Abteilung or Flak-Abteilung?

Both were used. Heer included “artillerie”, marine and luftwaffe did not. Don’t ask me why.

Thats simple; the exercise of the Heeres Flak Artillerie Abteilungen was not only against aircrafts, it was also used for ground attack against shelter, tanks, etc.
Not so Marine and Luftwaffe.
Not so Marine and Luftwaffe.
