Ties, Could it mean Entfernungsmesser übung?
A way to practice distance measuring or aiming.

Or Entfernungsmessühr.
Not shure if you write uhr of ühr.
Both purely hypothetical.

I think it's the back-up for the Kleinkog-zündertacho. Normally the timers on the fuzes (Zünder) are set in this device before placing the grenade in the barrel. Most likely this device is used the find the correct numbers to set the Zünder manually.
