Hello Everybody

This picture was taken in early war time 1940-1941 in Ostend Halve Maan, Belgium. On the foreground, one of the 7.5cm (p) 97 of the batterie Hundius but what kind of gun is visible in the background? Any idea?

Thanks for helping

Hello Pierre

Looks like a Canon de 155 Long Modèle 1877 de Bange https://www.fortiffsere.fr/artillerie/i ... ge1009.jpg

Thanks Jos

I think you are right. The Belgian Army used this old model in coastal fortification, so it was most probably let in situ by the Germans in the early months of the occupation.
