Pantherturm at Kustrin
Hi,
After reading Tony Le Tissiers book Siege of Kustrin I was interested to see that a number of Pantherturms ( Panther turret bunkers) were used at Kustrin.
A total of 12 were delivered, 1 slid of its skid during transport and was rendered useless, 8 fell into the Russians hands before they could be installed, leaving 3 to be put into action. one of these was placed south-east of the Kietz Gate at the junction of the Chaussees to Goritz and Sonnenberg.
What I wanted to ask was whether anyone knew of any images or information about this Panthertrum.
Thanks in advance for any help

Re: Pantherturm at Kustrin
Great picture. I tried to find this bridge on the old photos, but with no effect. Why do you think it's Kustrin?

I don't know if it makes sense, but in Stettin....
from http://berlin.bahninfo.de/stettin_hist.htm
If it's the location, it would be somewhere as on the map of Stettin
