Does anyone knows more 668 on this location, I only know the one in front of the main building of Wiese .
There are more 668 along the same road but they looks to be at Stp. Zudspitze ( Mont Roland ) ??

Hello

Jos, I was not aware that there was any other bunkers and Stp. in the area?

Do you have more info on that, please?

You write: "There are more 668 along the same road but they looks to be at Stp. Zudspitze (Mont Roland)"

Would like to learn more om these sites!!

I have visited the site a couple of times over the years, and never seen any other regular bunkers :-)

Kurt

Hello Kurt

Here first the 668 close to the V 3 and the second the other 668 most likely Stp. Zugspitze .

Hello

Thanks Jos :-)

I have been looking at the area on Google Earth, and notice some "information signs" stating - Western entrance (Stp. Sugspitze) and Western Site and Ex. Dumpsite besides the actual V3 bunker site. There is also some traces of other buildingsite to the right of the V3 entrance.

So definately something more there!!

Any one for more info?

regards
Kurt

Coincidence or not. Yesterday I was there because of the same questions.
Location: Zugspitze. See map.
1, This 668 is open with a special roof over the entrance.
2. This 668 is closed with only the tobruk and eaves visible.
3. This 668 only visible tobruk.
4. This 668 only seen parts of the roof and a raised ridge over the roof.
5. This 668 only shows the tobruk.
So far my findings.
From what I could see in the tobruks are the 668 as drawn in Atlantikwall Relikte.
Tobruks are higher than the roof. This is different. Why...no idea.

Location Brocken. See map.
There is a large concrete structure near the closed tunnel entrance.
This will have had a function with V3 tunnel.
But at the same location a 668 is indicated in Altantikwall Relikte. No 668 found.

Thanks Ron

That would mean that your nr 1 is not the 668 from the document, because it's open ??

Good day everyone.

Back to my previous explanation about 668, at the north entrance of the V3 tunnel. The photos I posted of the concrete construction shows a space into which the possible door of the North Entrance could slide. If so, the 668 is slightly north of this. I looked closer by the concrete structure. As Atlantikwall-Relikte, shows. Provided it is actually built. See pictures

There is still hope.

Hello everyone,

I found the damaged R 668 : it is the most eastern one, not mentioned on the maps above. I found it in April on a aerial view from 1944 and I had the opportunity to visit it on the same day. Please see here : https://www.facebook.com/groups/8594354 ... 635903576/

Jos, When was your document written ?

Thank you.

Hello Leo,

Nice found !
From 05-1943 the Fest.Pi. Stäbe had to forward to the Insp.d.L.West the bombing in their geographical scope and make a technical analyse for St Bunkers.
The damage on this R668 must have been studied.
