Looking for information/drawings of a Regealbu 197 water storage bunker

Post by CSEverett » 30 Jan 2023 00:46

I'm planning (hoping) on made a 3d model of a Regalbau 197 water storage bunker, but I can't find any information outside of the Regelbauten book. Some of it can simply be assumed to be standard, and the interior would be simplified, but above all I need a side view plan or drawing, since I have no idea how tall to make it. Presumably it had either two or four vents, on the side containing the entrance, presumably two pairs each one above the other if four, either that or two across if there's two of them. And I have no idea where to put them. There's an amazing resource of drawings online of either Dutch or Belagen or Danish bunkers surveyed after the war, and three were built in AOK 15 territory, but I don't know enough to narrow down the search (or remember where the webpage was.) I have been able to figure out that one was built at Stp.Gr. Breskens, but I can't seem to use that to go any farther. Would there be an emergency escape? Seems unnecessary, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

Thanks, this is my first bunker made from the ground up.

And with the help of members of this forum, the 197 is just about done. Thanks!

Here you go: (Bunker started life as one by Ben D., who I'm pretty sure used to go by another username he's better known here as; vents and "St" by Ben D.)

There's still a bit of work to be done, mostly involving rounding the edges of the roof. As far as sharing goes I would need Ben D.'s permission for that, and I haven't contacted him, so no.
