WW2 Japanese Shell

Post by Porcelain44 » 24 Sep 2023 01:36

Can anyone tell me which type of WW2 Japanese shell this casing is from? The base diameter is approx 3 3/4 inches and the shell is approx 12 inches high. Thanks.

Technically, that's a shell casing. Saying "shell" can get a panic started.

Hi.

Looks like a standard IJA 75 mm field gun brass propellant case for the Type 38, Type 41 and Type 95 Field Guns and the Type 94 Mountain Gun.
