10,5cm Unterseeboots und torpedoboots flugabwehrkanone Länge/45 und 10,5cm Schiffkanone construction 32 in 8,8cm mittel pivot lafette construktion Nr 30

Now the real question is, Does this mean 105mm and 88mm cannons as separate cannons , or a 105 breech assembly with an 88mm barrell ? As the Germans did use an 88 projectile on a 105mm cartridge to get better range, at least for some of their field artillery.

Hello!

I was sure this tread was dead by now :)

It is actually a 10,5 barrel in a 88 mounting. This is a common configuration on naval guns, in order to save space!
I have some brilliant 10,5 cm photos, just de-classified if you want to see more!
