Privet', Dima!

Nice to have someone from Russia, esp. Kaliningrad, in here!

I'd recommend you going thru:
viewtopic.php?t=44906
and
http://www.gyges.dk/Luftwaffe%20command ... lities.htm
and
http://www.gyges.dk/bunkers%20LwD.htm

There is a need to figure out two things:
1. Whether the Germans had built some large Luftwaffe command bunker in Seewiesen or Neuhausen or Devau?
2. What sort of construction (Bunker, bricks, wooden barrack) was used for night fighters command post in Koenigsberg-Devau.

SES will surely give you more details.

I can help you translate German names of Russian places:

Devau --> Rizskoe
This village/town is located 1.8 km and 229 degrees from Bolsoe Isakovo

Seewiesen --> ???
This village/town is located 1.4 km and 56 degrees from Komsomolsk

Neuhausen --> Gurjewsk
This village/town is located 10.1 km and 51 degrees from Kaliningrad

Let me note, that a very similar name: Koenigsberg-Neumark means some totally different place: Chojna in Poland, near German border!

best regards,
M.

Hi.
I am looking for a large/huge bunker on one of the 3 airfields mentioned. It could be of the size and model of NJRF 111 or even as big as Gyges/Diogenes/Sokrates. Most greatful for ANY information you could furnish on this or any other German bunkers in the Oblast.
Kind regards
