Hello
Armed with maps, camera and some pictures taken in 1940/41 i took a trip trying to find some bunkers. On the map it said it should be several large ones, trenches, and ready made artillery posts.
First picture, the staff have arrived...

After some searching, i came up on the first one, similar at both ends, at one end marked XIV, and both doors marked "Klapperstorch"

Second one after have spendt quite some time, didnt really see this one, before i was to try another place.
Quite difficult to spot, entrance was the last i found
It was the slit in the concrete that told it was something here.

Difficult to spot but quite interesting after i found the entrance.
If the map i had was correct this one was the observationpost/leitstand for 4 ready made artillery emplacements.

Another one near the previous one, it was a giveaway because of the airvents and the ringstand(?)

The last but not the least gave me some fun.
Did take a photo and i tought the view was great and took a snapshot.
Back in the car i found a snapshot taken in 1940.Note the big trees, photos taken on opposite side. :)

Nice photos as allways

This looks like a strongpoint to defend the harbour area...
Guess there would be some PAK bunkers or positions there, maybe even a KwK or two... Did you see any such positions?

Have you got any info on the artillery unit you mentioned? And where they were stationed regulary?

Hello Erik
Yes it was strongpoint, defending the harbour, but before any enemy could come this far they had to pass HKB Innstrandi(4 X10,5cm) and a torpedobatteri with 3 tubes. The last one was one of the first of not the first torpedobattery installed by the germans in Norway.
This place is also a "backdoor" to the bigger port Bergen.
I didnt see any PAK bunkers, but i have to go back and search for more.Im sure there are more interesting things in the area.
I add some then and now pictures from one of the camps nearby(there where between 6 and 8 of them)

On my way to the torpedobattery i stopped at HKB Instrandi(pictures put on the forum before) to take some photos of some flakpositions.
The farmer that own the place told me that both had been removed, and only the shelter(?) behind them was left.
