seen it years ago in some old dutch workshop .. so its used more. how more water bufferd in the long pipe line how more heat. you also find them with lamellen (sorry don't know a the right word) on it (i think better known as electrical heater).

Does this page from the Fortress Antenna Manual help to explain the length of cable inside the bunker.

A nice view on a M.G. shield inside a bunker and a pivot to place a MG on top .
The official name of this thing is "Behelfsmassiges Lager für Lafettenaufsatzstück"
