I still don't see the exterior difference between a HES 1,2 and 2,4. How can I see that? Just because of the 2,4 VW filters?

Hi

The HES 2,4’s is much larger physically than the HES 1,2 and the HES 2,4 has double manual cranks and also the larger VW filters.

Erik’s first photo of a HES 1,2 (Photo Vw.JPG) is actually a HES 2,4 (Sorry Erik – he, he 8) )

Regards

So the ventilator itself is the same size but the filters on top of it are either the same size (then it's 1,2) or have a larger diameter (then it's a 2,4). Right? :)

Here's a sketch of the difference (old, copyright should be void).

The source text is a personal memory note, I let it stay there. It's not made for the book, it's a scan of an old drawing found in the book.

EDIT: I've tried everything now, but it appears the PHP goblin hates me. Sorry, can't upload the pic, are there any maximum dimensions for attachments?

Hi,

Well....
The ventilator of a 2.4 is larger in diameter than the 1.2 and as Dan mentioned also has two cranks. the 1.2. only has 1 crank. Furthermore the frame on which the ventilator is positioned is somewhat different. Also the 2.4 has larger (koolstof) filters-drums and a larger Vf-filters.

Hi all,

Was a bit busy lately

el2, el 12 and el13 are all fuse-boxes for electrical installations
These are different to the fuse-boxes for communication equipment.
