I am wondering HOW did they hoist these huge weights up to the roof of the towers?

You can see some kind of crane legs at the edge of the picture but has anybody ever seen a picture of the total crane construction ?
I am asking this because "Hochleitstands" also has some heavy stuff on top: Range finder as well as armoured copula.

In the book "Flaktürme" from Hans Sakkers there is photo of a large buildingcrane beside a flakturm .

Crane could be from Demag which made most of elevator,cranes etc which were in or during building fortifications.

@Jos, Do you think you can post this picture from Hans his book ?

In addition: are there drawing known of these cranes to make a 3D model from ? Like this crane or the ones used by placing the huge guns at Todt, Hanstholm, Vara.

the crane being used to lift the ammo cupola is called a gantry crane, exactly the same system is still used to erect and Upright heavy columns and to lift very very heavy items the second crane is a tower crane, also still being used but in much different configuration
