Warious artillery/rockets stuff (super/bizzare weapons)
Re: Warious artillery/rockets stuff (super/bizzare weapons)
#2 (the Soviet F-22 USV 76mm gun with sWG rocket racks) is not actually a German weapon, but an improvised US Army weapon built using captured equipment by the 16th Ordnance Company, 102nd Division, Ninth US Army in German in 1945. They had found a large cache of German rockets and made a few different types of launchers to use up the rockets.

Thanks for info.searay wrote:#2 (the Soviet F-22 USV 76mm gun with sWG rocket racks) is not actually a German weapon, but an improvised US Army weapon built using captured equipment by the 16th Ordnance Company, 102nd Division, Ninth US Army in German in 1945. Here are other stills showing different weapon: Culemeyer 60t heavy trailer with steel frame makeshift launcher.
Looks like the same moment-soviet AT gun is visible in the background. Perhaps there are some films of that gun firing too(?)

Hmm actually not a weapon now-but it was in past: Flak 2cm lafette with cameras attached to the barrel???
This was used in Peneemunde for filming firing tests.

Andrzej:
The big frame launcher on the trailer was built by the 370th Ordnance Battalion (also Ninth US Army). Here's a better still photo.
